A tribute to my dog

Elvis the climbing dog

Elvis the climbing dog died last week. We all loved him dearly and he will be sadly missed. He has climbed with me on the Cobbler and in the Cuillin and he was without doubt the most beautiful dog I have ever had the pleasure of caring for. He died too young and was with us for only a couple of years, but anyone who knew him would tell you that he was an exceptional dog. I am lucky to have had his company if only for such a short time.

I’ll miss him chasing his tail and barking at “the claw” and even being sick in my car! I’ll miss him a lot.

Bye Elvis.

A wee dug that I will miss. Can’t help laugh at us. Slowly down climbing a steep snow slope in the Cuillin while Elvis ran in circles round us as if the slope didn’t exist! I don’t need climbing axes I need Elvis feet! Sleep tight wee man.
